Please join us for an informal open house to view our new display panel exhibits highlighting the history of the Franklin Street School.

The Cape May City branch of the Cape May County Library system has newly-installed educational display panels in the building's original stairwells to showcase the history of the Franklin Street School as a segregated school for African American children.

Please join us for an open house on Wednesday, June 10th from 1-3pm to celebrate the new display.   This informal open house gives participants a chance to view the new exhibits and chat with members of the Center for Community Arts’ History Committee regarding the school’s history. 

Light refreshments will be served in the multipurpose room.
