Ages 5+. Make edible s'mores oobleck slime at the library!
Kids will measure and mix together hot chocolate packets, cornstarch, and milk (subsitute with water, if needed) to make an edible chocolate oobleck slime! They may then mix in mini marshmallows, mini chocolate chips, and/or crushed graham crackers to add texture.
What's oobleck? It's a non-Newtonian fluid that chages texture and shape depending on how it's being played with! If you pour this slime in a glass or mug, it will be in a liquid state; if you put in the a mug and then push your fingers into, it will change into a more solid substance; if you put it on the table and push on it, it becomes more squishy!
This event is designed for school-aged kids, ages 5 and up.
