Wonders of Wetlands - We go through these marshy meadows all the time on our way to the beach. Ever wonder what's out there? Ever wonder why there is so much "empty" land? Ever wonder how they work like a pillow, a sponge, a baby’s cradle, a mixer, or a box of nutritious cereal? Let's wander out there for a closer look. Bring boots.

Location: Corson’s Inlet State Park, Ocean City

Like being outside and learning new things about the world we live in? That’s what the Nature & You Connected program is all about! Each week we meet in a different field site around Cape May County. We’ll take a short walk and have some hands-on explorations of the many of facets nature using a variety of strategies and equipment. Our explorations are opportunities to move our bodies and stretch our minds with newfound, or freshly remembered, insights about the natural world and our place in it.

Field site locations are tentative and may change due to weather or other unforeseen circumstances. A map with directions and location QR code to our specific meeting location, along with information about expected weather conditions and a list of what to bring will be emailed preceding each class.
