Monarchs and Migration at the Coast All summer long there are animals at the Jersey Shore, but where do they go come wintertime? Come find out at this presentation! From the small Monarch Butterfly to the gulls on the beach, we’ll discuss the journeys of these animals as the seasons change. Includes a live Monarch tagging demonstration, as available!

The Wetlands Institute strives to promote appreciation, understanding & stewardship of wetlands and coastal ecosystems through our programs in research, conservation, and education by:

  • Teaching people of all ages the value of wetlands and coastal ecosystems for the survival of life on earth
