Native Gardening: Creating a Spring Checklist
Native gardening can seem overwhelming, but it isn’t too late to get started this Spring. Shake off that winter frost and get ready for a season of connecting with your garden. Join the Nature Center of Cape May staff to walk through all the items to add to your spring gardening to-do list. We will cover everything from planning your garden to prepping the space! Plus, we will add in our favorite native gardening tips and tricks.
The Nature Center of Cape May was founded in 1992, with the twin goals of creating a responsible stewardship program for open space surrounding Cape May Harbor and providing environmental education for people of all ages. The Center’s focus on “hands-on” activities reflects a philosophy of personal responsibility for education.
Adopted by the New Jersey Audubon in 1995, the Nature Center of Cape May is a staffed nature center and open to the public.
